The most important rule of choosing an affiliate program is to know your target audience.

Another suggestion is not necessary to join every single affiliate program that comes your way. Some gurus suggest that sites that make the most money from affiliate programs are only sign up a small amount of affiliate programs.

Affiliates are people (customers) that are happy to advertise a product or service, in exchange for a percentage of the sale their advertising generates.  Basically, it’s like an online version of a salesperson working on commission-only and not employed by the company they are promoting: an independent representative if you like.

How do affiliates earn commission?

The CPC way, meanwhile, required web users to click on an online advert before an affiliate earns a commission.

Affiliates earn in the form sales as well as in advertising and promotion.
